Slow Cooker Search
Last year, I purchased 1-1/2-quart and 3-quart slow cookers and have been looking for recipes. There isn’t an icon or a separate listing for slow cooker recipes in Cooking for 2, so I had to thumb through all the magazines. There must be an easier way to find them.

Editor’s Note: Since you sent your letter by E-mail, you likely have Internet access. So the easiest way to find slow cooker recipes in Cooking for 2 and its “sister” magazines, is by using our Recipe Finder..
First, select “Advanced Search.” Then specify number of servings and, under Total Cook Time, check “Slow Cooker.” Choose 2 servings if you want recipes for your 1-1/2-quart cooker and 4 or 6 servings for your 3-quart model.
Just the Thing!
What a wonderful discovery this magazine is! You publish interesting, innovative and often from-scratch recipes—just what I’ve been looking for! I have been cutting recipes down for years and am glad to add to my collection. In this rural area populated by large families, people laugh when they learn how small my recipes are. I’m so glad to discover I’m not alone.

More Gluten-Free Recipes
As a person with celiac disease, I was pleased to see that you have a new on-line group called Gluten-Free Zone. That will help many, many readers. I, however, don’t have a computer, so I hope you’ll continue to print a few gluten-free recipes in your magazine. We’ll be hearing more and more about celiac disease and gluten-free diets as physicians become increasingly aware of the need to test and properly diagnose us folks. I love your magazine!
